How to use this page
One screen for every Metin2 planning tool
Catch the King Helper started as a single board tracker for one event. As more Metin2 players asked for related tools - upgrade math, Yang planning, Dragon Stone Alchemy, event chest decisions - they were added one at a time. This page is the single hub that holds them all so a player who likes the main helper can find the rest without digging through menus.
Each tool is independent. You do not need to use them in order, and none of them connect to the game client or read account data. They are math, decision practice, and reference material that you can run before logging in, during a break, or alongside an active session.
Recommended sequence
If you are new, do them in this order
Following this sequence builds a complete picture: rules, timing, budget, math, then decision habits. Each step naturally hands off to the next.
1. Start with the Catch the King guide
The guide covers card values, the Golden Loot threshold at 550 points, and the safer routes that experienced players use. Open it once before any event run.
2. Check the event calendar
Catch the King has a card drop window and a separate event end date. The calendar shows the current state so you know whether to farm cards or spend them.
3. Set a Yang goal
Use the Yang Goal Calculator to convert your reward target into a realistic farming schedule. Bring potion and repair fees into the hourly rate for honest numbers.
4. Simulate upgrades before spending
The Upgrade Simulator and Alchemy Simulator let you run dozens of attempts in seconds. Use them to set a hard scroll budget before pushing +9 or a Dragon Stone class.
5. Train decision habits
The Event Chest Planner is a no-cost place to feel the bank-or-risk decision that powers most Metin2 reward events. Five minutes here saves bad clicks later.
Pick the right tool for the moment
Match your situation to the most useful tool
You are mid-event with cards in hand
The Catch the King Helper (home page) tracks the board, your score, and the Golden Loot threshold in real time.
Your reward run finished and you want to pre-budget for the next one
Pair the Yang Goal Calculator with the Upgrade Simulator. The first sets a target. The second tells you how many scrolls that target really costs.
You are testing a new private server with multiplied rates
Run the Upgrade Simulator with a high bonus value, then compare expected attempts against the same target on default rates.
You have ten minutes before the event opens
Skim the relevant Catch the King keyword pages (Golden Loot, score table, strategy) for a tactical refresher, then open the live helper.
