Why this arcade exists
Five small games, one underlying skill set
The Catch the King Helper started as a single board tracker, but the underlying skills the event rewards - memory, scanning, banking, timing, and patience with random outcomes - show up in many other RPG events too. This page groups five tiny browser games that each train one of those skills in isolation, with no install, no account, and no real currency at risk.
Each game runs entirely in the browser. They are designed to be played in a single tab while the user does something else: a coffee break, the queue between match games, or the warm-up minute before a real event opens. None of them collect data beyond the basic anonymous analytics already in the site footer.
Recommended order
A suggested path through the arcade
The five games are independent and can be played in any order, but most players get more out of them by following the path below. Each step builds on the previous one.
Start with Rune Memory
Memory is the foundation of every Catch the King run. Eight pairs, sixteen cards, no timer - it is the gentlest entry point.
Move on to Number Path
Once memory feels comfortable, train scanning. The grid is bigger, the score is the clock, and the habit transfers directly to event boards.
Try Chest Risk Picker
Now bring decision-making into the mix. Banking points feels slow until the first time a trap saves your run.
Round it out with Upgrade Forge and Reaction Timer
Upgrade Forge teaches variance over many attempts. Reaction Timer keeps reflexes warm for short event windows.
Good moments to play
When the arcade actually helps
Five minute breaks
Rune Memory and Number Path both clear in under a minute. They fit between match queues or during a quick coffee break without breaking focus.
Pre-event warm-ups
Before a Catch the King run, two rounds of Number Path plus one Rune Memory board put your scanning and memory in a sharper state.
Teaching new players
Risk and upgrade systems are easier to teach with a no-cost browser version. Have a new player run Chest Risk Picker for ten minutes before explaining real event rewards.
